HURRICANE BARBARA FORMS IN THE EASTERN PACIFIC

A developing tropical storm has formed strength in the eastern Pacific Ocean. The system, now known as Tropical Storm Barbara, is at this moment located about 100 miles southeast of Mexico's California. Forecasters are predicting that Barbara will continue to strengthen over the next few days. The storm is moving westward at around 20 mph.
